Hyakugojyuuichi and the War on Scientology are two great things that are better together, like peanut butter and chocolate. I loved the huge number of blink-and-you'll-miss-them gags in the spirit of animutation, and the animation was absolutely excellent. This is the best flash I've seen in weeks.

It may not be a shining beacon of creativity, but judging from your description you were making this to learn Flash and if that's the case then this is pretty decent for a beginner's flash; it's certainly a step up from the crap like stick figures fighting, and you used sprites that weren't from something painfully overused like Sonic and Mario so kudos on that.

This is the single most painfully slow game I've seen in weeks. The idea isn't bad, but this could really use some more work.

The game takes a very long time to build anything resembling a frantic pace. Probably the main complaint I have is that there's no real risk involved in playing; the player loses nothing by letting a balloon of the color they're supposed to be shooting float by, and this is often the best course of action since accidentally hitting a balloon of the wrong color resets the multiplier and brings the player a step closer to the end of the game. The penalties for hitting the wrong balloon aren't bad, but the design encourages the player to play very cautiously and never take chances, which can lead to the player ignoring anything even remotely resembling a difficult shot, which makes the game easier and possibly duller than intended.
I had a good time, but perhaps some kind of modification to encourage the player to shoot at more of the balloons would help; maybe a partial reduction to the score multiplier for letting a shootable balloon float by without shooting at it, or since that can get pretty unfair once you're past level 20 or so and the screen's flooded with balloons by that point a better course of action might be to have the score multiplier gradually reduce on its own, thus forcing the player to shoot at more balloons to keep the multiplier high. Make them fight for that 50x!
P.S. In this current no-penalty-for-inaction build, there's no real reason that I can think of to ever use the pause button. Having one is a nice touch, though.

Your constantly looking at the camera was pretty awkward, but you held your hands in place pretty well and the animation looked like it did what it was supposed to do; pretty solid work all in all.

THE GOOD:
Quality animation, packed with references and coupled with a quality song? Do want.
THE BAD:
You say there's nothing that you could've done to fix the low volume of the voices relative to the rest of the song, but I can think of something that would've helped: subtitles. Some parts weren't so bad (such as Exor's rap), but others such as the opening dialogue between the goomba and the koopa were nearly incomprehensible and subtitles either of your own creation or based off of lyrics obtained from some other source could really have helped to make this good video great.

This is one of the best demos I've ever seen. I had a lot of fun kicking around that snail shell - maybe it could be used in a soccer minigame or something like that? Also, at one point when the spider atop a purple ledge at the right end of the first stage hit me, it knocked me across half the stage at top speed. I was in the process of pulling myself up the ledge IIRC, if that helps.

This is an excellent Tetris Attack clone, but like Tetris Attack it takes too long to get difficult; an option to start on a higher speed level would've been nice, although the Ctrl speed-up option is a decent alternative. A bigger issue however is that the game starts with only four colors of blocks and takes too long to bring in more colors. With only four colors, there are way too many accidental matches and even combos, taking some of the skill out of the game and making it feel too random. Once the game picks up it's great, but it takes awhile to get there.
Also, the ads were annoying.
